You have the right to request deletion of your DriveAds account and all associated personal data. Fill in the form and we will process your request within 30 days, in accordance with the Protection of Personal Information Act (POPIA) and Google Play data deletion requirements.
What gets deleted
The following data is permanently and irreversibly erased from our systems.
- Account & profile — your name, email address, phone number, profile photo, and business type.
- Ad content — all images and creative assets uploaded for your advertisements.
- Active bookings — any pending or active ad bookings associated with your account.
- Push notification tokens — device identifiers used to deliver notifications to your device.
- In-app messages — all in-app notifications and message history.
- Authentication record — your Firebase Authentication entry, preventing future sign-in with the same credentials.
What we retain
Certain records must be kept to comply with legal and financial obligations. This data is not used for any commercial purpose after your account is deleted.
- Completed booking records — retained for 5 years for financial and tax compliance under South African law.
- Payment references — transaction reference numbers kept for dispute resolution and legal compliance. No card data is stored by Northstar.
- Anonymised crash data — any diagnostic data collected by Firebase Crashlytics (retained up to 90 days; no link to your identity after account deletion).
How it works

Fill in and submit the form. Your request is logged and a confirmation email is sent to the address you provide.

2Identity verification 1–2 business days
We verify that the email address matches a DriveAds account. We may contact you if additional verification is needed.

3Data deletion Up to 30 days
Your account and all deletable data is permanently removed from our systems within 30 days of request confirmation.

4Confirmation On completion
